This is it people. The final round of the Beauty Bloggers Battle over at Everything Nice. This time, the theme was 'glitter'. I decided to go with glitter placement nails, something I had never done before. I didn't really have a specific design in mind, I just started out and this skittlette happened!

Hello there! I thought it would be fun to share some manicures that I've been wearing over the past few weeks. But not in a 'nail blogger way'. I think close ups of nails with a bottle of polish look beautiful, but also artificial. That's why I took some pictures of my nails in different surroundings and situations, on moments when I felt like staring at my nails.

Beauty Bloggers Battle 2.0 [Fairytales]: The Frog Prince

Hi everyone! I have some exciting news to share. I'm competing in Romy's second Beauty Bloggers Battle! She hosts the battle on her blog everythingnice.nl where I write guest posts.

All the information on the battle can be found here but I'll explain it shortly. I'm competing against seven other bloggers of which (luckily?) none is a nail blogger. Every two weeks there is a new round and every two weeks one blogger will be eliminated from the battle. Each round has its own theme. The first theme Romy picked was 'sprookjes', Dutch for fairytales!

My obsession with orange

Something has changed. I used to be all about greens and blues. And lately I'm suddenly interested in reds, pinks and... oranges. For us Dutch girls it's a strange thing to wear orange, since it's our national colour and we are so used to only wearing it when there's a special occasion. Wearing orange clothes therefore sometimes makes me feel like a bit of a nationalistic freak but when it comes to my nails I love wearing it! Today I'd like to show you the two lovely orange Essie polishes Meet me at sunset and Roarrrrange and some Born Pretty Store stamping.
