BPS midi ring review + french manicure

Hi guys! Today I'm going to show you this nice chunky midi ring and an elegant french manicure.

I did not pay for this ring myself - it was sent to me by everyone's favourite nail-art supplier (right?!) Born Pretty StoreI thought it would be fun to show you guys a ring because I love to match my rings with my manis. Do you do that as well? Anyway, this is my first BPS jewelry item and I'm very pleased with it!

Material/quality
BPS states on their website the the ring is made of an alloy... but what exactly it is made of I cannot tell. Please inform us BPS! It feels very solid though and after wearing it for one day I did not notice any decolouration or damage. The surface of the ring looks very smooth. There is a gold version as well!

Size
This V-shaped ring comes in only one size and is supposed to be a midi ring. For me it only fits as a midi on my middle finger. I can wear it as a normal ring on my ring finger too. If you feel like your fingers are bigger than mine, you can probably wear it as a midi on your ring and index finger as well. If your hands are more slim, this is not the ring for you.

Even though the ring is quite big it is not uncomfortable.

Style
The chunky style of this ring is something that not everyone likes. I don't always like big rings but this one is pretty amazing! The V-shape is really cool. I tried wearing it pointed towards my nails and towards my hand, and I think I prefer the first option.

At the (current) price of $0,99 I think this ring is an absolute bargain and I definitely recommend it! You can find it here and if you want you can use my coupon code for 10% off

For my french manicure I used my white from Paris Memories to freehand the tip, Orly Beverly Hills Manicure in Plum on the entire nail and Seche Vite as my top coat.

I don't really know how I feel about french manicures, sometimes I like them but most of the time I think they look very tacky, especially when the tips are too white or when the free edge of the nail is very long. But with my current nail shape and length I think a french looks quite elegant!

Do you own any Born Pretty Store rings?
How do you feel about french manicures?
