Pink Lady Polkadots

This is my very first EVER try on polkadot nails... I'm definitely going to try to become an expert at this.
I took pictures in two kinds of light: both artifical, the first one more yellow, the last one more white.

Sporty stripes on my cousin's nails

My cousin and I found this manicure in the WAH nails book of nail art. She chose the colours and I did her nails! I think they turned out pretty well for a first try.

No straight stamping but I still think this looks nice! ^^

Ice princess

I layered a strange iridescent polish (that I don't think I have ever used before) over one of my favourites; Essence's Absolutely blue (previously seen in this post). Because of the cool-toned, sparkly result I decided to name this manicure 'Ice princess'.

Les Supplies:
Essence - Absolutely blue
Luminelle (Yves Rocher) - Parme féerique

Sweet jelly sandwich

I decided to try out something new: a technique called "Jelly Sandwich".
For this type of manicure, you use a polish with a jelly finish, with a glitter polish in the middle. The jelly polish is the bread and the glittery one the spread.

If you want to buy 'It's a trap-eze' from China Glaze's most recent collection, don't, because the jelly sandwich is a great DIY-dupe! You would have to use a more grey-lavender jelly though.

Here's what I used:
MAX - neutral
Bourjois - Rosé sulfureux
OPI - Rainbow connection

Sandwich order:
One coat of the MAX polish
One coat of rosé sulfureux
One coat of rainbow connection
Two coats of rosé sulfureux

That made quite a thick but lovely sandwich =)

Is it blue? Is it green? Grey?
I don't know but it sure is beautiful! And sparkly...

With flash: blue-ish

Under yellow light: silvery-green-ish
