Negative space nails

Hi guys! I wrote a guest post for Dutch blogger Romy from everythingnice.nl. It is a tutorial for a pretty negative space manicure, and you can find it right here! The tutorial is an Everything Nice exclusive but I am sharing some pictures of the manicure in this blog post. Even though it's simple, I am kind of proud of this manicure since it's my first negative space nail art and I came up with the design myself. I hope you like it!

On a lovely Sunday afternoon I did some manicures for four friends.  It is so much fun to do other people's nails but it is also such a challenge! 2013 Nail Art Challenge: (4) A polish that you grabbed randomly

For this part of the 2013 Nail Art Challenge I decided not to grab a random polish but to create a random number and use that to pick a polish from my stash file. I did this because I know that I will never be able to fully randomly grab a polish since not all bottles are the same size/shape. I also didn't want to ruin the order in my Helmer. Anyway, the number I got was:

Sporty stripes on my cousin's nails

My cousin and I found this manicure in the WAH nails book of nail art. She chose the colours and I did her nails! I think they turned out pretty well for a first try.
