Hi everyone! A while ago I shared some random manicures. The idea was to show you my nails in different surroundings and situations - not in the 'nail-blogger-way'. You guys all responded so great to this new idea of mine (thanks for all the sweet comments <3) so I figured it would be time for a part two!

Studded Essie Fashion playground

Hi there polish freaks! I don't really have anything special, artistic or super creative for you today. My birthday was last Saturday and my boyfriend got me this great Essie shade, called Fashion playground. When I wear a nail polish for the first time, I never want to 'ruin' it with nail art. But this time I decided to add some silver studs.

My obsession with orange

Something has changed. I used to be all about greens and blues. And lately I'm suddenly interested in reds, pinks and... oranges. For us Dutch girls it's a strange thing to wear orange, since it's our national colour and we are so used to only wearing it when there's a special occasion. Wearing orange clothes therefore sometimes makes me feel like a bit of a nationalistic freak but when it comes to my nails I love wearing it! Today I'd like to show you the two lovely orange Essie polishes Meet me at sunset and Roarrrrange and some Born Pretty Store stamping.

Hi guys! After wearing the stud and flower manicure for a week I was really glad to have some time to take it off and try a new polish: Essie Angora Cardi.

Double Design: studs and flowers

This month Monique and I both sort of lost track of time for our 'Double Design'. Why do you only have 28 days, Februari? Anway, let's just pretend it's the 29th of Februari today and that we are right on time with our Double Design for this month! The theme is 'Floral'.

Swatch: Essie Leading Lady

Hello dear readers! Confession time: I'm not really a red mani type of girl. Most reds just seem too standard, too predictable. I do like to wear red shades that have something extra, like the super bright Rimmel Coralicious or this lovely glitter polish: Leading Lady.

Snow nails

First of all: merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are having a great time.

Over the past few weeks I have seen so many snow-themed nail arts! There were freehanded snowflakes, snow stickers, dotting tool snow, matte snowflakes, sparkly snowflakes... Anyway, here's my take on the snowflake! 

~ Essie Cute as a button ~

Hello polish lovers :)!! Two days ago I wanted to paint my nails with one of my favourite polishes: Essie Cute as a button. Unfortunately, I got sick but today I finally applied this lovely shade.

Kawaii Star Nails ^.^

This manicure turned out looking like something a girl from Japan would wear... So that's why I named this Kawaii Star Nails ^.^!

I love the Essie polish I used as my base, turquoise & caicos. It needs three coats though (without nail art on top of it might even need four), but the colour makes up for it. I stamped stars on the top and finished my nails with MAX 'daimond sky' (I'm not spelling this wrong, it says 'daimond' on the bottle).
